Brother John was born in 1954 and born again at the age of 21 in 1975. His teaching ministry began more than 45 years ago when he taught grades 1 thru 5 Sunday School beginning in 1977.

He has been married to his wife Gill (pronounced "Jill") since 1988. Together they spent years running bus routes and teaching young people in Bible believing churches, in addition to John's chalk talks and other adult teaching ministries. His personal internet ministry, in addition to his messages posted at bbfohio.com, includes needhope.org which began several years before he joined BBF. There he has posted many sermon outlines, Gospel tracts, etc., available to all FREE of charge.

He and his family have been with BBF since just after the New Year holiday of 2014.
